Outdoor activities updates

The outdoor rink in Carl Zehr Square is reopened and ready for you to enjoy. It is open daily from 9 a.m. to 10 p.m., weather dependent.

Due to the warmer temperatures, the ice surface at Carl Zehr Square is currently not safe for skating and the rink is temporarily closed.

Due to current weather conditions, the City's formal toboggan hills are closed. Some outdoor rink locations may also be closed. Please respect the rink signage at each location and stay off the ice if rinks are marked as closed.

Due to warmer temperatures, the ice rink at Victoria Park is temporarily closed. Please do not skate on the rink to help maintain the condition of the remaining ice. We hope to reopen the rink once cooler temperatures return.

All City of Kitchener toboggan hills have reopened for active use.

All formal toboggan hills are closed due to flooding conditions.  The affected locations are Foxglove Park, McLennan Park and Hillside Park.
