Kitchener, ON– With the first snow forecast for this weekend, it’s time to remind ourselves of the support and tools available in our community to help us all have a safe and healthy winter season. 

There will be an increase in monsters, KPop Demon Hunters, superheroes, witches and more on City sidewalks and streetsFriday evening, as kids across Kitchener celebrate Halloween.  

The City of Kitchener is hosting a free watch party tonight, Tuesday, Oct. 28 at THEMUSEUM to cheer on the Toronto Blue Jays! The series is 2-1, we’re down but never out! 

The City of Kitchener’s RISE Fund, launched in 2022, has demonstrated significant impact in supporting Black, Indigenous, and other racialized communities. The current budget of $150,000 will be sustained through 2025 and 2026, with a proposal for a long-term, sustainable funding model anticipated in 2027.
