Kitchener, Ontario – With snow on the ground and plows on the street, we have officially welcomed winter in Kitchener. With the snow comes the winter season’s responsibilities – both for the City of Kitchener and for residents.
Kitchener, ON – This winter, the streets of downtown Kitchener will transform into an open-air art gallery. Launched Monday afternoon, the City of Kitchener’s new Canvas in the Sky initiative will showcase the work of local artists on a series of banners that will be installed on light poles throughout the downtown core.

This beloved European-style holiday market brings festive sights and sounds to our community each year along with holiday shopping, live entertainment and free activities for all ages.
To accompany the draft release of Kitchener’s new official plan, Kitchener 2051, the City of Kitchener is holding the third session of its speaker series to discuss the plan’s key themes, and there’s still time to register for free.
