Kitchener, ON – The City of Kitchener is continuing work on a new Long-Term Parking Strategy and wants your input on parking downtown. We will be hosting a virtual open house from 6 -7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 to ask residents who work, live or visit downtown to discuss the initial recommendations we’ve received, both from the public and our consultant. 

The City of Kitchener, in collaboration with the Waterloo Region Small Business Centre (WRSBC), hosts a free monthly speaker series called SDG Talks. The series explores the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and how we can create a more socially and environmentally sustainable planet. This year’s theme, Community of Difference Makers, highlights individuals and organizations advancing environmental stewardship, community building and social entrepreneurship.
